Is Online Poker "Real Poker?"

I haven't seen the column (hmmm, I wonder why I haven't been in a cardroom in a while), but there are a lot of skills necessary to be good at poker. If one has a total package, then altering the parameters of what skills are germane in a given environ won't be too detrimental to that player. If one only has one "skill," and it happens to be really, really understanding how to play poker, it's pretty tough to alter the parameters in a way that this particular player goes from winner to loser. If one has an incomplete package, then all bets are off.
